Forms of RESISTANCE!

This curated photographic series explores the body as a metaphor for resistance. Through a series of contorted, expressive poses by a young male artist/performer, Forms of Resistance reflects the physical and emotional demands placed on those navigating systems of marginalization. The body's ability to bend without breaking becomes a symbol of resilience, of adapting, surviving, and pushing back against structures that attempt to limit or define it. Each image invites viewers to consider the quiet, powerful ways resistance is carried in the body every day.
