KID FOR A DAY!

KID FOR A DAY! is a social-impact portrait series centered on children ages 2–12 who are navigating difficult life circumstances. These may include illness, loss of a loved one, foster care, traumatic experiences, homelessness, or other significant challenges.

Each child is invited into a personalized, joy-filled photo experience designed to celebrate who they are, giving them space, even if just for a day, to feel free, seen, and fully like a kid. Sessions include refreshments, a custom environment inspired by the child’s personality, and portraits for families to cherish.

This socially engaged project is offered at no cost to participating families and is open through nomination or application. Selected images may be presented in public exhibitions or galleries, where families have the opportunity to share their stories.

Through these portraits, the project highlights both the resilience of children and the reality that many are carrying more than they should, while inviting greater awareness and care from the world around them.
