Model Application Form

THE SKIN I'M IN: Breaking Beauty Barriers is a social portrait series inspired by the photographer’s own journey with chronic and severe eczema. This creative project highlights individuals with visible skin conditions such as vitiligo, eczema, burns, major scars, keloids, albinism, alopecia, rare skin conditions, physical changes due to injury, and more. Through empowering, editorial-style photography, the series celebrates real skin, real people, and real stories, challenging conventional beauty standards and shifting the lens on visibility. Selected participants will be photographed in our Queens, NY studio and have the opportunity to share their story as part of an upcoming series and potential exhibition. This is a volunteer-based creative project, and all chosen participants will receive a free gallery of professionally edited portraits.

***If selected, your visible skin condition will be highlighted in your final portrait. By applying, you confirm that you are comfortable having your skin condition visible in public-facing images that may be shared online, in print, or in exhibition settings.

* Model slots for this project are limited.  Filling out the application form does not guarantee selection.
