Kid For a Day! is a social-impact portrait photography project featuring children ages 3–12 who are navigating difficult life circumstances. These lived events can include situations such as, severe illness, displacement, a traumatic event, homelessness, unfortunate domestic situations, etc. Each child is invited to a fun, personalized photo session designed to celebrate who they are in an inspirational way.

The goal of this project is to give each child participant a day to set aside their challenges and simply be a kid. The project also aims to highlight how many children are forced to navigate adult-level hardships, and to encourage greater societal awareness and action to ease the burdens placed on them.

The portraits created will become part of an on-going art series planned for public exhibition at a later date.
