Honeydark Creative Studios owner, Sharon Miller is not just a talented creative, as well as business owner, she is also extremely passionate about using her art for social change. With a primary focus on youth within marginalized New York City communities, Sharon founded The Creative Youth Society in 2020, a Queens, NY based fiscally sponsored organization where she teaches NYC community youth skills that empower them to seek careers within the creative industries. Sharon also contracts her creative teaching services to community organizations nationwide and has had the opportunity to inspire youth within the public and private school sectors. Sharon has worked with organizations, including NeOn Arts, BRIC Arts Media, Groundswell Mural Project, Brooklyn Justice Initiative, Allied Media Conference, Artistic Noise, The Young Women’s Leadership School, Photoville NYC, and The Chris Canty Foundation.

Sharon recently completed a social photo series called, The Creative Ambassadors, which celebrated marginalized youth in creative editorial style portraits based on their creative career goals. The photo series was featured in the 2022 Photoville Festival, on NY1 News, as well as received support from the Queens Council on the Arts, City Artist Corps, NYFA, Mysteek Naturals Hair Products, and SONY Cameras
